Asian Fusion Hits: YaMe Asian Noodle

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Asian Fusion? Maybe a mix of Thai food, Japanese, or Chinese? Well for me, I think of flavor mixed with spices and more flavor! YaMe Asian Noodle is a fairly new restaurant near the Park Road area in Charlotte, and this family owned restaurant is a great way to feed the need for Asian food. They offer several stir fry dishes with a range of flavors from Curry to Pad Thai, as well as a variety of Noodle Soups. The most popular Noodle Soup dish is the Curry Noodle Soup with Shrimp, Chicken, and a ton of mixed vegetables in a Curry Coconut milk base. I tried it, and I was very pleased, but just know that the dish has more spice that salt.

The Curry Noddle soup reminds me of a Ramen bowl, but with Curry flavor. It's great if you truly enjoy Curry, and the veggies soak up the curry flavor. I will warn you that the broth looks super flavorful, but the star of the show is definitely the Curry. Not garlic, not salt, or anything else really.

I also tried the Udon Noodle Stir fry with shrimp, veggies, and a brown sauce with the lettuce wraps and Bubble Tea. If you are looking for a refreshing end to your meal, select a Bubble (Bobba) Tea . The Bubble Tea options available are for a milk tea, jasmine green tea, or an earl grey tea base paired with a range of fruit flavors pop flavors. There are also a variety of extra toppings including Chia seeds and Aloe Vera.
